nanoStream Live Captions v.1 Release

This major release introduces AI-powered real-time captions, transforming spoken language into text instantly during your live streams.

With nanoStream Live Captions, you can make your content more engaging and accessible ensuring every viewer can follow the conversation in real time. 
 

Changelog 

Added 

• API-based setup to configure and manage captions directly via the REST API.  

• Settings are determined by the assigned StreamgroupId / StreamName.

• New Stream options: 
  • GET (get list of stream options) 
  • PUT (modify existing stream options) 
  • POST (create new stream options) 
  • DEL (delete a stream option for a group) 

• Responses and standard HTTP status codes (e.g. 200 OK, 400 Bad Request etc.) 

• Automatic start/stop via onPublish/onStop event – captions begin when the stream goes live and stop when it ends. 

• Language setup – first release includes caption coverage for:
  • English (en),
  • German (de),
  • Spanish (es),
  • Indonesian (id) with more languages to follow within upcoming releases. 

• Dedicated output channel – captions are delivered as a separate output for seamless integration into your application. 

• Maximum number of concurrent streams defined per organization
